Vendor agreement

This agreement applies to every vendor selling through Miskana, together with the partnership terms agreed when you're approved.

Who can sell

At launch, individual vendors and small brands in Lebanon, starting with the North. A vendor account is for selling only; it can't shop.

Approval and the pilot

• Miskana reviews every application and may approve it, ask for more information or decline it with a reason. You can apply again.
• On approval, we agree your partnership model and terms and choose 3 to 5 pilot products. After the pilot, we expand, adjust or replace products based on results.
• Every new product, change, price and sale is approved by Miskana before it goes live. We may improve photos and descriptions, and we write the second language, so everything is in English and Arabic.
• Miskana may hide any product at any time.

Partnership models

• A, commission on sale: you set your selling price; Miskana's agreed commission is taken only when a sale happens.
• B, supply price plus margin: Miskana sets the customer price within an agreed pricing policy; you receive your supply price.
• C, services subscription: a monthly fee for an agreed package of services, taken from your payout.

In every model, packaging is paid to whoever provides it, and a small share of transfer fees is built into each price to cover sending your payouts. Shipping is paid by the customer at checkout.

Sales and discounts

You can propose a sale with dates; it goes live only once Miskana approves it. You pay for your own discount: it comes out of your share, and Miskana's commission or margin and the fees stay the same. A discount can't be larger than your own share. Miskana pays for its own promotions.

Preparing orders

• Orders appear in your dashboard once they're paid or confirmed, with the date to hand them to Miskana.
• Press Start preparing when you begin. From then on, the customer can no longer cancel.
• If you can't make or supply an item, mark it Can't supply with a reason and, if possible, a new date. Missed and late items are part of your results.
• Hand each item to the Miskana hub, labelled with the code from your dashboard. Miskana packs and ships every order.

Getting paid

• A sale counts towards your payout once Miskana receives the item at the hub. From then on it's yours, even if the order is later cancelled, lost or returned.
• On the 1st of every month, the previous month closes into a statement listing every item, fee and correction. Miskana sends your payout and records the method and reference, and you get an email.
• Your payout details are encrypted and seen only by Miskana's finance team.

Quality and honesty

Every piece must meet the Miskana quality standard, and every claim you make about it must be true.
