Terms of use

These terms apply when you use the Miskana shop and when you order from us. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to them.

Your account

• You need an account to order. Browsing and filling a cart are open to everyone.
• Please confirm your email before your first order; we use it for your order confirmations and updates.
• Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for orders placed from your account.
• One account has one role: customer accounts shop, and vendor accounts sell through the Miskana dashboard.

Products and prices

• Every product on Miskana is approved by our team, and its details come from its vendor. Handmade pieces vary a little from one to the next; that's part of their character.
• Prices are set in US dollars. You pay in US dollars, by card. You can also see prices in your own currency, including Lebanese pounds: those are estimates at the day's exchange rate, and your bank converts the charge.
• Shipping and, for orders outside Lebanon, export paperwork are added at checkout. See our shipping policy.

Placing an order

• Your order is confirmed once it's paid.
• If something sells out between your cart and checkout, we'll tell you before you pay.
• You can cancel until a vendor starts preparing your order. See returns and refunds for what happens after.

Payment

Every order is paid online by card, including Apple Pay and Google Pay. Card payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

When something can't be supplied

Handmade work sometimes runs short. If a vendor can't supply a piece, we'll ask you to choose: ship the rest now with a partial refund, wait for the piece, or cancel the order with a full refund. If we don't hear from you by the date we give, we ship the rest and refund the missing piece.

Using the site

Please don't misuse the shop: no attempts to break in, scrape it in bulk or place fake orders. We may suspend accounts that do.

Content

Photos, stories and texts on Miskana belong to Miskana or to our vendors. Please ask before using them.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies to new orders.
