Buying a gift card
- Gift cards are digital and sent by email, with your personal message and, if you like, a delivery date (for example the morning of Eid or Mother's Day).
- Choose a set amount such as $25, $50, $100 or $200, or your own amount within the limits shown. The value is always in US dollars, and you pay for it by card.
- Companies can buy many at once and pay by card against an invoice.
- To protect everyone, there's a daily limit per customer, and very large purchases are checked quickly before the cards are sent.
Using a gift card
- It pays for products, gift collections, shipping and export paperwork.
- It can't pay for mystery box subscriptions (they have their own gift subscription) or buy other gift cards.
- Whatever you don't spend stays on the card for next time. The rest of an order is paid by card.
- It works together with discount codes, because a gift card is a way to pay, not a discount.
- You can add a gift card to your account. After that, the balance belongs to your account and the code can't be used by anyone else.
Expiry, refunds and lost codes
- A gift card is valid for 3 years from purchase. We email a reminder 30 days before it expires.
- Gift cards can't be exchanged for cash.
- An unused gift card can be refunded to the buyer within 14 days of purchase.
- If an order paid with a gift card is refunded, the money goes back onto the gift card. If the card has expired by then, it's extended for 90 days.
- A code that hasn't been added to an account works like cash: if it's lost, it can't be replaced. A card added to your account is safe.
- Miskana may freeze a card it suspects is being misused.
Store credit
- Store credit from a refund is your own money and follows the same rules as a gift card.
- Promotional credit that Miskana gives as a gift may have a shorter expiry, for example 90 days, shown when you receive it.
